# X

> June reads posts, mentions, bookmarks and threads from your X account, and posts, replies, reposts, likes, bookmarks and follows when you approve each one.

Connect your X account and June can research on X for you: read a thread,
look at your mentions and bookmarks, search recent posts, and see how your
own posts did. When you ask, it can also post for you, reply, quote, repost,
like, bookmark or follow someone, following your approval settings.

1. On the **Integrations** page, choose **Connect** on the X row.
2. Sign in to X and allow June to read your account and to post, like, bookmark and follow for you.
3. Ask June what you want to know, or what to post.

> Example prompt: Summarize the replies to my last post and draft three answers I could give.

> Example prompt: Find recent posts about our launch and tell me what people are saying.

> Example prompt: Post this on X: "Our new opening hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00."

## What June can do

- Read a post, a whole thread, a user's posts and recent search results.
- Read your mentions, bookmarks, liked posts, followers and who you follow.
- Read the analytics of your own posts.
- Post, reply to a post or quote one, and delete one of your posts.
- Repost a post or undo a repost, like or unlike a post, bookmark a post or
remove the bookmark, follow or unfollow an account.

June asks before each public post, reply or quote. Its card shows the whole
text and the post it replies to or quotes. Approval covers that one call;
you cannot allow future posts in advance. Everyone who can see your posts
on X sees it.

Other changes follow your approval settings. Their cards show the post or
account June would like, repost, bookmark, delete or follow. A deleted post
cannot be brought back, so deleting posts cannot be always allowed.

If X does not answer in time, June does not know whether the post went
out. It checks your posts before asking you again and never posts the same
thing twice on its own. If the result is uncertain, check your profile
before asking June to retry; a timeout is not proof that nothing was posted.

## What June does not do

- It never posts, likes or follows on its own, or because a post asks it
to. A draft June writes stays in the chat until you ask it to post it.
- It does not send direct messages, mute or block accounts, or change
  lists.
- It connects one X account.

If you connected X before June could post, your connection can only read.
Reconnect X on the **Integrations** page to let June post; your reads keep
working until then.
