Models and who pays

Use June models or June auto

Let June pay through its own inference endpoint: June models lists the models by name, June auto offers June Smart and June Cheap.

June models and June auto are funding sources that need no key and no plan of yours. June runs the models on its own inference endpoint, which MODUS operates. Add one, pick it, and it pays for every turn in that space: your personal space, or an organization MODUS offers it to, where you are an admin or its billing manager (Pay for an organization).

MODUS chooses the models behind June Smart and June Cheap and can change them. June does not show which model answers, in the picker or in a reply.

If MODUS has already provisioned funding for your organization, its models are ready in chat. Your organization may have no Funding section; contact MODUS to change the provisioned funding.

Add one

Open the Funding section, on your Settings page for your own space or on the organization's page for an organization.
Choose Add June models or Add June auto. The button shows only for the options offered in that space, and only until the space has a source of that kind.
Keep the label, or type your own.
Leave Pay for every turn here now on to make it the source that pays at once, or turn it off and pick it in the list later.

The row says where the source runs. There is no key to check, so it shows no verification.

Use it

While June models or June auto pays, the model picker shows one group, June models or June auto, under June's mark. Nothing else is offered in that space until you pick No funding source. June Free, the models June pays for when nothing else can, is a different group: it is not offered while a source pays.

When June's endpoint is unavailable

If June's inference endpoint cannot be reached, turns in that space stop with a note that says so, rather than moving to another source or to June Free. Nothing needs changing in Funding: try again in a few minutes. If it lasts, contact MODUS.

What June does not do

  • It does not bill you for these sources yet: the Usage page reports activity, not charges.
  • It does not let you choose the model behind June Smart or June Cheap.
